| Impact Report - 2025 ECOSOC Partnership Forum Background The 2025 ECOSOC Partnership Forum took place on 5 February 2025 at United Nations Headquarters in New York under the theme “Advancing sustainable, inclusive, science- and evidence-based solutions for the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and its Sustainable Development Goals for leaving no one behind”. The Forum placed special emphasis on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) under in-depth review at the 2025 High-level Political Forum on Sustainable Development (HLPF), namely SDG 3 (Good health and well-being); SDG 5 (Gender equality); SDG 8 (Decent work and economic growth), SDG 14 (Life below water); and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals). About the Impact Report To capture the outcomes and impact of the 2025 ECOSOC Partnership Forum, the Division for Sustainable Development Goals (DSDG) in the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs (UN DESA) has prepared an Impact Report – 2025 ECOSOC Partnership Forum, now available on the Forum website here. The report provides a factual account of the 2025 ECOSOC Partnership Forum, highlighting its inclusive approach, preparatory activities, participation figures, programme and key outcome and outreach documents. It reflects how the Forum brought together a broad range of stakeholders—including Member States, the UN system, civil society, the private sector, and youth—to exchange experiences, strengthen partnerships and spotlight innovative approaches to sustainable development. The report forms part of broader efforts to promote the Forum’s outcomes and inform discussions at upcoming intergovernmental meetings.
