The SDGs in Practice is an annual series of capacity-building sessions organized as a special event of the UN High-level Political Forum on Sustainable Development. Coordinated by UN DESA and the UNITAR New York Office, in collaboration with UN entities and stakeholders, the sessions aim to strengthen skills and knowledge for SDG implementation, promote peer learning and collaboration, and showcase practical tools and innovative solutions for advancing the 2030 Agenda. The 2025 series will take place from 14 to 23 July in virtual, hybrid, and in-person formats, and will feature 12 sessions covering key topics such as health, gender equality, inclusive data, strategic foresight for sustainable development, digital platforms and data innovation, citizen-generated data, blue economy and ocean advocacy, jobs and social protection, green growth, and partnerships and stakeholder engagement for SDG implementation.
