The address was also just the latest reminder for U.S. allies and foes that the United States has returned to the unapologetically "America First" posture under Trump. Read more. This follows the downing of Russian drones over Poland earlier this month and Estonia's report of an intrusion by Russian fighter jets last week. The Poland incident was the first direct encounter between NATO and Moscow since the war in Ukraine began. It jolted leaders across Europe, raising questions about how prepared the alliance is against growing Russian aggression. Read more. Bacteria that are difficult to treat due to the so-called NDM gene primarily drove the increase, CDC researchers wrote in an article published Monday in the Annals of Internal Medicine. Read more.
