StreamGuys AI Ad Tagging: Automated mid-roll insertion for podcasts

Managing ad tag compliance across a growing podcast library is a persistent challenge for media operations teams. StreamGuys' AI Ad Tagging service eliminates that burden, delivering automated mid-roll ad insertion that enforces your business rules without manual oversight.

The service continuously monitors new podcast episodes as they are published. When an episode is identified as missing required ad tags or failing to meet defined placement rules, the AI automatically analyzes the audio and inserts mid-roll markers at natural pauses and topic transitions. The result is contextually appropriate ad placement that protects both listener experience and advertiser value.

For production teams, the workflow change is minimal. Editors publish as normal; the system handles compliance in the background, typically completing the tagging process within minutes. Crucially, human editorial control is never compromised — staff can review, adjust, or override any AI-generated tag, and those changes are permanently preserved.

Designed to be platform agnostic, the service can integrate into existing workflows and technology stacks.

For media executives managing large content portfolios, the business case is straightforward: Fewer compliance gaps, reduced production overhead and a monetization pipeline that keeps pace with your publishing volume — automatically. Watch the video here.

Unified Virtual IP Audio: Lawo’s HOME Power Core and HOME Audio Shuffler for modern radio facilities

Lawo’s HOME Power Core and HOME Audio Shuffler form a complementary, IP‑native processing platform for high‑density, low‑latency radio workflows.

The HOME Power Core app virtualizes the DSP engine of the Lawo Power Core hardware, delivering mc²‑grade audio processing, real‑time mixing, routing and monitoring on COTS servers for diamond, crystal and crystal Clear consoles. It offers native Ravenna/AES67 and SMPTE ST2110 support, with optional Dante, NDI and SRT connectivity. The app links to all IP sources in a HOME‑managed environment, including Power Core hardware, A__line, .edge, and third-party devices. Broadcasters can scale DSP capacity via perpetual licenses or Flex credits. These capabilities build on the hardware Power Core’s high-density Ravenna/AES67 and MADI interfaces, its 1,920×1,920 internal matrix and up to 96 channels of DSP input processing, with optional VSM-controlled headless operation.

The HOME Audio Shuffler app provides virtualized routing and remapping. Designed for IP-based dynamic media facilities, it handles SMPTE ST2110 30/31 and AES67 audio with minimal latency, providing ST2022 7 protection and automatic restart for 24/7 operation. It supports up to 16,384 inputs and outputs, and symmetrical flow sizes ranging from 64 to 2,048 RX/TX streams, each with up to 64 channels, selectable across six matrix packages. Routing, shuffling and stream customization are managed via the HOME Terminal Routing Matrix, VSM control, or external controllers via the HOME API.

Together, both apps create a unified, scalable, software‑based audio infrastructure optimized for modern radio on standard IT hardware.
