Letlow won Louisiana’s Republican nomination for U.S. Senate on Saturday, delivering another win for the president, who has sought to replace Republicans who cross him with hand-picked loyalists. Letlow, who was endorsed by President Trump, defeated state Treasurer John Fleming in a runoff after the two finished ahead of Sen. Bill Cassidy in the GOP primary May 16.
