Dear readers,
Europe is experiencing an unprecedented military expansion, diverting hundreds of billions of euros from healthcare, education, and climate action into the war machine. We refuse to accept this permanent war economy.
In this special newsletter, we invite you to join the Europe-wide mobilisation against accelerating militarisation. On 14 June, the StopReArm Campaign and the Stop Militarisation Platform are calling for a major "Welfare not Warfare" demonstration and assembly in Brussels, accompanied by decentralised actions across the continent throughout the entire month.
In addition to the practical details for the upcoming protests, this issue features a detailed recap of March's Stop Militarisation Conference and four analytical articles exploring the structural dimensions of war, rearmament, and the Left's response.
