SAVE THE DATE! 10th Multi-stakeholder Forum on Science, Technology and Innovation for the Sustainable Development Goals 7-8 May 2025, UNHQ, New York The tenth annual Multi-Stakeholder Forum on Science, Technology and Innovation for the SDGs (STI Forum) will be held from Wednesday, 7 May, to Thursday, 8 May 2025 at the UN headquarters in New York under the theme "Advancing sustainable, inclusive, and evidence-based, science and technology solutions and innovations for the 2030 Agenda and its SDGs for leaving no one behind". This pivotal event will bring together UN Member States, scientists, innovators, policymakers, civil society, and global STI stakeholders to catalyze transformative actions through science, technology, and innovation (STI) in support of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and the Pact of Future implementation. Aligned with the 2025 High-level Political Forum (HLPF), the STI Forum will spotlight SDGs under in-depth review: Goal 3 (Ensure health and well-being for all); Goal 5 (Achieve gender equality and empower all women and girls); Goal 8 (Promote sustained, inclusive and sustainable economic growth, full and productive employment and decent work for all); Goal 14 (Conserve and sustainably use the oceans, seas and marine resources for sustainable development); and Goal 17 (Strengthen the means of implementation and revitalize the Global Partnership for Sustainable Development). In addition to the STI Forum, there will be several featured events during the week, including the STI Action Day and the Special meeting on AI convened by ECOSOC President.
