The Seventh Global Conference on Climate and SDG Synergies (29–30 June 2026, Bangkok, Thailand) will bring together ministers, policymakers, practitioners, international organizations, business, civil society and youth representatives to turn this reality into action — sharing practical, integrated solutions that maximize synergies to deliver across climate, development and sustainability goals more effectively.

The Conference will focus on strengthening coherence and integrated implementation in a complex and resource-constrained global context. Key elements of the programme include:
- High-level segments on accelerating delivery of the Paris Agreement and the 2030 Agenda in a context of fiscal pressure, debt constraints and shifting geopolitical dynamics
- Multi-stakeholder dialogues on whole-of-government coordination and crisis-responsive policymaking, including managing trade-offs across climate, energy, food and economic priorities
- Thematic sessions focused on resilience and system transformation across energy, transport, adaptation, health, biodiversity and sustainable cities
- Country and regional perspectives on moving from NDC commitments to climate-development integrated pathways — including financing, institutional alignment and delivery at scale
Organized back-to-back with the ninth session of the ESCAP Committee on Environment and Development, the Conference will strengthen linkages between global commitments and regional action, particularly across the Asia-Pacific region. and a report on synergistic solutions in the region will be launched.
